SOUTH SIDE STORIES

Neighbors talking about mobile notary service

Here is what people in Chicago are saying about getting their documents signed without leaving home.

I had a stack of mortgage papers to sign and could not get away from work. GBerry came to my office lobby, walked me through every signature, and had it done in 20 minutes. No stress.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Notary appointments, simplified

Answers to what people usually ask before booking their first appointment.

What do I need to bring to a mobile notary appointment?

Bring a valid government-issued photo ID and the documents you need notarized. Do not sign anything until I arrive — I have to watch you sign in person.

How far do you travel on the South Side?

I cover from Hyde Park down to Pullman and everywhere in between. If you are outside that area, just ask — I may still be able to make it work.

How much does a mobile notary visit cost?

The notary fee is set by Illinois law. I add a travel fee based on distance. I will tell you the total upfront before you book, no surprises.

Can you notarize a document remotely or online?

I focus on in-person mobile appointments. Illinois allows remote notarization in some cases, but for now, I come to you with the stamp in hand.

What types of documents do you handle most often?

Mortgage and title signings, power of attorney, healthcare directives, and general affidavits. One page or fifty, it is the same care either way.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Call +12345678900 or email email@mybusiness.com. Tell me your location and what you need notarized, and we will set a time that works for you.

Still have questions?

Reach out and I will get back to you the same day.
